Any Point Away From Home Is A Good Point: Hull 0 – 0 Norwich

I’ve always said that any point gained away from home is a good point and I stand by that after watching Norwich and Hull play out a rather drab 0-0 draw last night.

The second long haul away trip for the Canaries in four days meant that, at least to my eyes, we looked a little jaded in some areas of the pitch.

The loss of Moritz Leitner through a calf injury meant that Daniel Farke had a selection decision to make, although I don’t think it was that hard for him.

Tom Trybull had shown last season that he has a good understanding with Alex Tettey and that clearly made up Farke’s mind.

Other than that one change, Norwich looked a little tired at times and although Emi Buendia caught the eye, Teemu Pukki and Onel Hernandez both looked slightly jaded.

Fair play to The Tigers though, they sit in 23rd place and were not going to roll over easily. They were compact, hard working and disciplined, this was a good point for them too.

Add to that the horrible weather conditions and you’ve got a recipe for anything other than a great game of football.

Rotherham on Saturday will also be keen not to lose, so expect another tough match then.
