Norwich City have had a bid accepted for Wigan Athletic’s Yanic Wildshut reports The Pink ‘Un

This is a story that has been developing over the last couple of days with talk of Norwich and Derby both battling for this lad’s signature and a fee of around £4m being suggested.

Alex Neil refused to discuss Wildschut when quizzed by the Norfolk media on Saturday after the 2-0 win over Birmingham, citing a wish to not talk about other team’s players. In the past he has dismissed false rumours out of hand but he could just have been in one of those moods.

As I write this, the player is currently on the bench for Wigan at Old Trafford in the FA Cup tie, it’ll be interesting to see if he comes on or not.

He is Dutch, 25 years old, 6′ tall and has a fair turn of pace – sounds like he’s Robbie Brady’s replacement.
