City chief Glenn Roeder believes his Canary side should have demolished Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

The Canaries had one goal disallowed and hit the woodwork on four seperate occasions in a game they dominated from start to finish – but a lapse of concentration in stoppage time almost created a grandstand finish.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk, Roeder said: ‘I’m delighted with the win but we should have put them to the sword and scored five or six goals. Then we have this ridiculous situation when they score in the last 90 seconds and it doesn’t even bear thinking about if they had scored again’.
