Brentford are hoping to sign Sergi Canos from Norwich City once the deal to sell Scott Hogan to West Ham is done report Westlondonsport.com
Hogan was left out of the Bees’ squad at the weekend as they took on Wigan and reports suggest that a deal to sell him to West Ham is approaching a conclusion.
That deal is rumoured to be worth around £15m and the delay has been due to Brentford playing hardball over the price. With that sort of money in the Griffin Park coffers, this report suggests that Brentford will come knocking for Sergi Canos.
Alex Neil has suggested that Norwich are willing to listen to offers for the majority of their players, even Canos, who only joined in the summer and has been unable to force his way into the first team picture.
A fee of £3.5m has been mooted in various media reports, which is around £1m more than he cost the Canaries from Liverpool.
