The Canaries and Charlton Athletic could find themselves in hot water after the Football Association confirmed they are investigating an incident that occurred during half-time of Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Carrow Road.

Players from both sides are thought to have clashed in the tunnel shortly after the half-time whistle blew, moments after Charlton’s Nicky Bailey appeared to kick out at City striker Grant Holt.

The Addicks’ midfielder off with just a warning, but it is believed that the players continued the debate, and referee Steve Tanner has mentioned in the incident in his report.

‘We are aware of the incident in question and we are making enquiries accordingly,’ said an FA spokesman.

‘Depending on those enquiries, we will decide if any further action will be necessary.’
