News from today’s press of a move for Celtic’s Gary Hooper…

A report came in last night from Sun journalist, Charlie Wyett that Norwich had made two bids for two seperate players yesterday to a total of £10m.

The £5m bid for Danny Graham was widely reported at around 6pm last evening and Wyett tweeted that the other name would be revealed in today’s paper.

He has named Gary Hooper as the other player we have allegedly bid for.

As yet this is all speculation without any substance, however, it’s exciting to be linked with these two players.

I’d be very happy with either one of them, but the prospect of getting both of them is terrific.

The news that Wolves seem set to bid for Simeon Jackson suggests that things are happening behind the scenes at Carrow Road.

Come on David McNally, make it happen!

14.40 Update
Neil Lennon has admitted that Celtic have received a bid from City for their striker, Gary Hooper and that they have rejected that bid.

Lennon stated that Celtic have no desire to sell their star striker and have spoken to Hooper’s representatives this morning.

It remains to be seen whether City will up their offer or whether Norwich’s interest will tempt Hooper into a transfer request.
