Right, after a busy Tuesday, today`s news kicks off with a story in The Daily Telegraph that suggests City have made the first bid, of around £2m for Birmingham winger, Nathan Redmond.

The report also suggests that Swansea and Fulham have matched the offer and that The Blues will be looking to push the price towards £3m.

Redmond has long been linked with City after playing under Chris Hughton at St. Andrews.

He has made 62 appearances for them over the last three seasons and made 38 appearances last term, scoring two goals.

He is seen as very much “one for the future” and was described by several journalists as one of the few players to emerge from the recent England U21 debacle with any credit.
