City Linked With Kris Commons

According to the Daily Express, Norwich City manager, Neil Adams is interested in bringing Celtic winger and Scotland’s Player Of The Season, Kris Commons to Carrow Road.

Having just sold Anthony Pilkington to Cardiff City, it seems that Adams would like to use that fee of a reported £1-2m to help facilitate the purchase of Commons.

The ex-Derby man moved to Celtic Park for £300k in 2011 and has been a massive fan favourite, almost since day one. Now in the last year of his contract and at 30 years of age, it seems that Commons may want a move back to England.

A fee of £4m has been mentioned, which wouldn’t be out of our reach and it should be noted that one of his best pals in football, Gary Hooper is already at Norwich.

The recruitment of Commons would bring in experience that has been lost after the sales of Robert Snodgrass and Pilkingon and in my opinion, would be a very good thing.
