The Tuckster with news of the first signing of the day…

Lucciano Becchio has signed for City on a 3.5 year deal that sees Steve Morison go to Leeds in a cash/player swap as Becchio’s replacement.

Assuming all the paperwork goes through without problem then our new striker should be available for the trip to QPR on Saturday.

Becchio told the official site he had spoken to his former Leeds team-mates when his move to Carrow Road was on the cards: “I spoke to Robert Snodgrass and Jonny Howson about Norwich and they both had really good things to say about the Club and the city.

“I cannot wait to play my first game for Norwich. I am really happy about having the chance to play in the Premier League, it is brilliant for me personally and for my career.”

Good news indeed – now for Hooper!
