Sky Sports have reported that Norwich City will return with an improved offer for Gary Hooper.
I guess that’s a fairly safe assumption isn’t it?
Chris Hughton clearly wants Hooper and nobody ever accepts the first offer, do they?
Whether or not Celtic will take more cash for the striker remains to be seen.
Neil Lennon has already adopted a ‘You’re not going anywhere, son’ type of stance so we’ll wait with baited breath.
Celtic will want to keep him for the Juventus clash and have reportedly offered to raise his salary to £25k a week, all speculation obviously and Lennon will want to drag this out till Feb 1st, I expect.
Elsewhere, Michael Laudrup has stated he will need a replacement before letting Danny Graham go – again, obvious stuff but we like to keep you informed.
