Tom Adeyemi has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The seventeen-year-old midfielder has been registered with the Academy since he was eight, and played for the Reserves last season as an under-16.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk, Academy director Ricky Martin said he was thrilled with the news:

‘The Academy are delighted Tom has been offered a professional contract. He is what you would call a genuine product from the Academy, because he came in in the under nines age group and has gone all the way through the system and he’s come out at the other end with a contract.’

Adeyemi will wear the number 34 shirt, and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2011. For more reaction visit the official site.
