City boss Paul Lambert reported a clean bill of health ahead of tomorrow’s game at Colchester (3pm).

Michael Theoklitos will not be allowed anywhere near the Weston Homes Community Stadium, just in case, Fraser Forster will start in goal with Declan Rudd on the bench.

Jens Berthel Askou and Michael Spillane are still out, so the only real decision for Lambert to make is whether Michael Nelson or Zak Whitbread should partner Gary Doherty, with the smart money going towards the recent signing from Millwall.

Stephen Hughes is back in contention, but the game may come a little too soon for him, so expect Darel Russell, Simon Lappin, Korey Smith and Wes Hoolahan to continune in midfield.

Up top Grant Holt and Chris Martin will be looking to add to their combined total of 36 goals for the season so far.
