Dynamo Dresden are favourites to sign Norwich City centre back, Marcel Franke according to German newspaper Bild, as reported by the The Pink ‘Un
Earlier in the week Franke, who has made just 7 appearances for City, was linked to another German club, Union Berlin but it seems that Dresden are in the box seat to get his signature in January.
Timm Klose, Grant Hanley and Christoph Zimmermann have been the first choice players since Klose returned to fitness in September – after that, poor old Marcel hasn`t had a look in.
City also have another option in the shape of Sean Raggett, whose loan at Lincoln expires at the end of December. With Franke looking as though he`s on his way, it would be no surprise if Raggett stayed at Norwich for the remainder of the season.
UPDATE: Norwich City have now confirmed that Franke will join Dresden on loan until the end of the season.
