Daniel Farke’s Brentford Press Conference – A Fan’s View

|

The games are coming thick and fast at the moment but with three wins in eight days, despite not playing at their best, Norwich City are well placed in the table.

Next up is a tricky looking away trip to Brentford on Tuesday night, which will be swiftly followed by the trek to face Bristol City on Saturday lunchtime. As usual, Daniel Farke spoke to the media in a video press conference on Monday lunchtime and as usual, FC Bears from the Vital Norwich Forum gives his view on what came out of it.

I don’t think this is the type of game for Vrancic. I think we need to give Hugill more time to settle in but I am tempted to drop him and play Placheta as the left winger, with Cantwell behind Pukki.

We could have all our forwards on the pitch on Tuesday so no injuries, please.

Todd Cantwell has a slight knock, it will be a late call on him.
Christoph Zimmermann is still out and there is no return date now – why oh why didn’t we sign another centre back?!
Josh Martin is out with a back injury.
Adam Idah is out suspended.
Sam Byram is out.
Onel Hernandez is out.
Kieron Dowell is out.

Marco Stiepermann is back fit and available.

Zimmermann was meant to be out for one game but now Farke says that he can’t say when he will be returning.

DF and Stuart Webber knew that all three centre-backs had injury problems so if it all goes to sh*t, they will be to blame.

If Todd is out, I’d maybe go:

Krul

Aarons
Hanley (c)
Gibson
Xavi

Skipp
Rupp

Placheta
Vrancic
Emi

Pukki

Thoughts?
