Derby County have made an £8m bid for Nelson Oliveira according to HITC Sport
Oliveira`s form has been a little up and down this season with 7 goals in 22 appearances but to be fair initially, he was hampered by groin, back and then dental (!) problems.
In his debut season with City he scored 15 goals in 32 appearances, three of which came against Derby at Carrow Road, and that brought a £12m bid from Swansea in the summer, which was rejected.
Now though he looks a bit forlorn ploughing a lone furrow and is often isolated. The ball doesn`t stick to him and he rarely wins a header but where he is decent is as a finisher, with either foot.
To be fair, the amount of chances that Norwich side was creating last season, I reckon I could`ve got into double figures playing up front 😉
Anyway, £8m? I`d say that The Rams are about £4m short, at least.
