Graham Dorrans will sign a three year deal with Glasgow Rangers and is expected to have a medical later today reports The Scotsman

A transfer fee, thought to be around £800k by the EDP, has been agreed between the club’s, bringing to the end this long running saga.

It’s still too cheap for me but perhaps there are add-ons, we’ll see.

Meanwhile, his new club crashed out of Europa League qualification last night as they were beaten 2-0 in Luxembourg by part time Progres Niederkorn.

That defeat will surely go down as one of Rangers’ worst ever defeats.

To be clear, they weren’t beaten by the Luxembourg national side. They weren’t beaten by the best team in Luxembourg either, nope, it was the fourth best team in Luxembourg that beat them.

Highly, highly embarrassing.

Rangers went into this game with a 1-0 lead from the first leg but lost 2-0 on the night, losing 2-1 on aggregate. They did hit the woodwork three times but they should have been good enough.

It’s a massive set back for the club and surely puts manager Pedro Caixinha under huge pressure already. If they get off to a bad start in the league then he’ll be on borrowed time very soon.

I hope Graham Dorrans knows what he’s doing…
