Long-serving left back Adam Drury is Paul Lambert’s only new injury doubt ahead of the visit of Brentford this afternoon (3pm).

The 31-year-old injured his ankle in last weekend’s romp at Colchester, but speaking to the official site yesterday Lambert said he was optimistic that he’d be ok.

‘He was feeling better yesterday,’ he said. ‘We’ll have to see how he’s feeling today. Adam’s been absolutely terrific since I’ve been here. Colossal for me that’s for sure.

‘He’s one of those ones that you don’t need to say that much to him and you get the same level of consistency week in, week out, he’s been brilliant – very good.’

Michael Spillane is back in training following his long-term hamstring injury but today’s game will come too soon for him.

If Drury doesn’t make it expect Simon Lappin to slot in at left back and for Stephen Hughes to take his place in midfield.

Other than that it’ll be as you were, with the rest of the team almost picking itself.
