Danish defender Dario Dumic has signed for Brondby on a free transfer.

The 17-year-old joined the club as an Academy scholar from FC Hvidovre at the beginning of last season, and signed his first professional contract in June.

He was a part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup last season, and made his one and only first team appearance in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Swindon in November.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk Paul Lambert said: ‘Everyone at the Club thanks Dario for his efforts at Norwich City and we wish him all the best for his future career in Denmark.’

The Canaries have also negotiated a sell-on clause, and will receive future payments depending on appearances.
