Russell Martin is Paul Lambert’s only new injury concern ahead of tonight’s trip to Walsall (7.45pm).

The right back was withdrawn at half-time at the weekend after getting a knock on his hip, but with Michael Spillane only just returning to full fitness the City boss will be hoping the former Peterborough player recovers in time.

If Martin and Spillane are not available Lambert may ask Zak Whitbread or Michael Nelson to do a job there, or shuffle his pack completely by moving Adam Drury and Simon Lappin.

Grant Holt starts his three match ban, with Oli Johnson the man most likely to step in.
