Declan Rudd is set to make his full Premier League debut against West Bromwich Albion at Carrow Road tomorrow (1.30pm).

Paul Lambert is without John Ruddy who is serving a one-match suspension for the red card he received at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago, leaving 20-year-old Rudd the only professional goalkeeper available.

What is less clear however is what Lambert will do with his substitutes. Third-choice stopper Jed Steer is on loan at Yeovil so the City boss may decide to name seven outfield players on the bench.

Zak Whitbread has not fully recovered from the hamstring injury against Chelsea, so Leon Barnett is expected to partner Ritchie De Laet at the heart of the City defence against his former club.

Elliott Ward and Daniel Ayala are still out, but James Vaughan may be fit enough for a place on the bench after recovering from the knee injury he sustained during the summer.
