Five Norwich Players In Top 50 Power Rankings Including Top Spot

|

Marco Stiepermann has soared to the top of the Sky Sports Championship Power Rankings after scoring a cracking goal in the 2-2 draw with Bristol City on Saturday.

That goal was Marco’s third in five games and he is joined in the top 50 by four other Canary team mates.

The Power Rankings calculations are based on a number of different statistics with points awarded for each in different ways. Here is a brief explanation from Skysports.com on how they do that.

Each week we list the top-performing players in the Premier League and the Championship. These Power Rankings are based on points awarded to players for 33 different statistics – from goals and assists to blocks and tackles.

Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards receive a different number of points for certain achievements – for instance, a defender is awarded more points than a forward for scoring a goal.”
Marco is also joined in the list by Max Aarons at number 10 after he scored City’s late equaliser at Ashton Gate.
Emiliano Buendía is at number 12, Teemu Pukki is at number 23 and Mario Vrancic is at 36.
