Fraser Forster is a target for Premier League hoofers Stoke City according to reports today.

The 21-year-old is on loan at Carrow Road from Championship leaders Newcastle, but a string of impressive performance has seemingly attracted the attention of Stoke boss Tony Pulis, who looks to have lost the fight for Portsmouth keeper David James.

It is unclear whether or not the Magpies can recall the youngster, but if he was to move on the Canaries would be short of experience between the sticks where Michael Theoklitos, Declan Rudd and Jed Steer have only a handful of first team appearances between them.

Forster has made 24 appearances for the club so far this season, and was linked with Arsenal and Tottenham earlier in the campaign.
