Slim pickings on the transfer rumour front today, but there’s always something doing the rounds.

Top of the bill is Dundee striker Leigh Griffiths. He has been linked with a switch to Carrow Road for a number of weeks, and according to one report this morning is on the verge of completing a move to Norfolk for around £180,000.

In fact he is apparently undergoing a medical as we speak, so standby for an official club SMS in the next couple of hours. Or maybe not.

Somebody somewhere has been adding two and two and coming up with a new left back for Coventry City.

It was Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd that ‘broke’ the news of Norwich’s interest in the unfortunately mis-quoted Marc Tierney. Steven Smith is struggling to settle in the area, and Boothroyd still wants a left back after missing out on Tierney. The only logical solution therefore is for Boothroyd to sign Smith for £100k, right?

Oh and he’ll bring Matty Pattison back to England while he’s at it.
