Former City stopper Robert Green has again been linked with a move across London when the transfer window opens next month, this time to Chelsea.

Today’s Daily Express say that Carlo Ancelotti wants the current England number one to replace the apparently faltering Petr Cech (we’ll take him) as the Blues look to maintain their lead atop the Premier League table.

The Hammers are currently struggling in the relegation zone, and have a massive game at the Reebok against Bolton tonight.

Green made over 200 appearances for the Canaries between 1998 and 2006, and has in recent months been linked with Sunderland, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Blackburn and Arsenal.
