Sheffield Wednesday are expected to be given the green light to sign Gary Hooper permanently, reports the Daily Mail.

Yesterday came the news that reportedly, Norwich value Hooper at around £3m and despite selling Lewis Grabban, another striker sale looks likely.

The report reads: ‘Norwich boss Alex Neil is also prepared to sell Gary Hooper to Sheffield Wednesday as he hopes to complete an £8million deal for Everton’s Steven Naismith.’

Hooper has made 11 appearances for Wednesday and scored 2 goals, his loan deal is set to expire on 17th January.
