Great News! (well, for some of you)

Wes Hoolahan has just put pen to paper on a two year extension, keeping him at the club till 2017.

What a contrast from a few months ago when the want-away midfielder was being lured by the promise of first team football at Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa.

Lambert saw it…Hughton didn’t…Adams does.

It’s called talent and Wes has got buckets of it.

‘I’m delighted to have signed.

‘Obviously last year it was a bad season for me but I came back in for the pre-season and the manager spoke to me and talked me through his plans.

‘Now I just can’t wait to get started and I’m delighted to be here for another couple of seasons.’ Said the Irish playmaker about his contract extension.

Credit where it is due…Adams has seemingly got the knack of communicating with his players. Let’s hope he can do the same with Redmond, Fer, Ruddy, Olsson et al
