Norwich City’s promising young striker, Jamar Loza has signed a new two year contract with the Canaries, with the option of a further year.
The 20 year old is well known to Neil Adams and made his debut for the senior squad in the final day defeat against Arsenal.
“I`m over the moon that I`m signing a new two-year contract,” he said.
“This Club has done so much for me, not just on the pitch but off the pitch too, they`ve helped me out a lot.
“It`s going to be a busy season in the Championship, so hopefully I can play a few games, impress the boss and get into the team – that`s the plan.”
Neil Adams added: ‘We’re delighted with how well Jamar’s first year as a professional went, especially his debut against Arsenal, so he fully deserves this new contract.
‘He’s a direct player who is lightning quick and can run with the ball, and he causes defenders a lot of problems.
‘There will be more games this season so more opportunities to get in the team, and with me it doesn’t matter how old the players are – the best players will play.’
Refreshing to here that from Neil, although it’s not surprising as no-one knows the club’s young players better than him.
