Liverpool’s young winger, Harry Wilson is still a target for Norwich City Says journalist, Alan Nixon.

Wilson was on loan for the second half of last season and scored 7 goals in 13 appearances for the Tigers. Hull would no doubt be keen t9 get him back again but you’d imagine those performances for Hull didn’t go unnoticed across the Championship.

Wilson is Liverpool through and through, having been with the club’s academy since the age of nine and he was also Wales’ youngest ever player at just 16 years old. He is highly thought of at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp has shown with Trent Alexander-Arnold that he is quite prepared to play young players if he thinks they are ready.

Whether Klopp thinks that young Harry is ready or not is likely to determine what happens to him this summer. Much will also depend on whether there is a gap in the Liverpool squad. Depending on the answer to those two questions, it seems that Norwich are well placed to take the lad on loan for next season, at least according to Alan Nixon.

As is often the case with Premier League loans, we may have to wait a while yet until the World Cup is over and Klopp knows exactly what he’s working with before we get a decision.

I like the look of Harry Wilson though and would take him next season, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
