Norwich City defender Leon Barnett has joined Cardiff City’s promotion challenge on a one month loan deal.

Barnett has found opportunities hard to come by this season after finding himself behind the firmly established pairing of Michael Turner and Sebastian Bassong.

He has made 11 appearances so far this season and both club and player will hope that a little regular game time in Wales will do all concerned a power of good.
