Norwich Comfortably Beat Luton But Striker Limps Off

I thought I’d try something a little different and attempt to give you a feel of last night’s 1-3 victory over Luton Town via the medium of Twitter.

There’ll be some official tweets and some not so official tweets, here goes…

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! ????

It certainly sounds like Norwich were worthy winners but the big worry is Jordan Rhodes. Any injury at this time of the year can mean a player misses the big kick-off which is only just over a week away now.

Last year it was Alex Pritchard and Timm Klose, who got clobbered at Cambridge United, fingers crossed it’s not so bad for new boy Jordan.

From Michael Bailey’s reliable assessment of the game, it seems as though City were pretty comfortable and it’s nice to see a few of the new lads get a decent run out too.

Ben Godfrey’s accomplished 90 minutes at centre back, on the day that Sean Raggett left for a loan at the New York Stadium, is another big sign for me, that Daniel Farke intends to keep him in the first team squad this season. Louis Thompson looks to be another stayer, as well.
