Man United Still Keen On Norwich Defender

|

Manchester United are still keen on Norwich City full-back, Max Aarons  according to The Sun.

You may remember that back in the summer of 2019, Aarons was linked with a move to Old Trafford but that after a lot of speculation, United bought Aaron Wan-Bissaka instead and they paid Crystal Palace £50m for the England U21 defender.

I’m sure that you will also remember that last summer, Max was the subject of an offer from Barcelona to take him on-loan for the 2020/21 season but that was knocked back as it did not have an obligation to buy built in to the deal.

Now, according to The Sun and every other media outlet that has picked up the story, United are still said to be keen on Aarons for his attacking prowess.

Fabrizio Romano is a highly reputable journalist specialising in transfer news and if he says United are still interested then I believe him. With Norwich doing so well at the moment and with Aarons a huge part of that, it seems to me that a move away from Carrow Road in this winter’s transfer window is unlikely. However, next summer whether City are promoted or not it is going to be increasingly hard to keep hold of players like Max Aarons, and Emi Buendia, for that matter.
