God, I love Twitter sometimes.

Sometimes I absolutely hate – reading the insanity spouted by some complete muppets almost makes me want to delete the app – but luckily then comes along a little gem that makes my day.

Like the time when some young chap in the Norwich City marketing department forgot to make a new account private and promptly leaked the new season kit! Phenomenal.

Anyway. Back to the point. Allegedly a little innocuous tweet by the German version of SkySports earlier today has got everyone a little moist with anticipation as it looks like the conversion of Norwich City Football Club to a bundesliga outfit continues.

This time the media are reporting that Marco Stiepermann is on the verge of joining the Canaries.

Stiepermann is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga second division.

He’s 26 and seems to have represented his country at every youth level up to U20.

I’m not going to write much more about this until it comes off – but if it does we’ll certainly have a full roster….

What are your thoughts guys?

  • Still think we need another CB rumours are we have an interest in Lincoln’s Sean Raggett for about £500k would be a good buy all 6ft 4in of him.
one site said that we should leave him till January but if he has a good start to the season his price will double or more.

  • It’ll do for me
The Germans are way ahead of us in football terms
    The more the merrier !

  • That’s two more midfield with the one we bought today. Still think another forward is required. Two seems to leave us very light.

  • Alex – Apparently, he has a release clause of about £350k. The only reason why teams are reluctant is because he hasn’t played Beyond non-league football. He would seem more like Abraham. Someone who would come into our U23s first, maybe loaned back too.

Clwyd – It’s no secret that they plan to use Watkins as 3rd choice, if needed. Then there’s always Naismith, who can play up top too.
