It’s not often that you will find a fan forum like Vital Norwich promoting another fan site but there’s room for all fan sites and opinions.
Sometimes, a fan site gets a scoop or a bit of news that everyone wants to hear or see and today we have exactly that. Many of you will no doubt have heard about or seen The Little Yellow Bird Project. It’s run by Jon Rogers (aka Big Grant Holt) and his pal, Dan Brigham and it’s well worth reading/listening to.
On Tuesday, Jon and Dan pulled off a major coup by managing to secure an interview with Norwich City Chief Executive, David McNally.
McNally doesn’t give too many interviews and he especially doesn’t give them too often to independent sites like theirs and ours. The boys have done spectacularly well with what they have achieved here. McNally gave them a 20 minute slot in his day that turned into almost an hour.
The Chief Exec talks about the summer transfer window and missing out on three central defensive targets in the final week of the window, including one from Italy. I wonder who that was, Koulibaly from Napoli?
He also discusses a myriad of topics including social media, the atmosphere at Carrow Road and how Alex Neil has the final say on who the club buy and who they let go, not to mention that Alex Neil will stay at the club even if we are relegated.
This is a real insight for a fan, with access to the man at the top. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and am sure that you will too.
Well done chaps!
