Norwich City are in talks to conclude a deal for Luxembourg international winger, Danel Sinani according to the Daily Mail.
This is a story that we spoke about a couple of days ago – you can read the original report here.
The Mail have added a little more meat to the bones, adding that the 22-year-old Serbian born forward is out of contract in the summer. He has 11 goals in 12 games this season and could join Norwich on a pre-contract deal if a transfer cannot be concluded this week.
Sinani is top scorer in the Luxembourg league at the moment and you’d assume that he would be keen to join a “current” Premier league side although is current side F91 Dudelange would, I’m sure, want him to stay for the remainder of the season.
Daniel Farke has been a little coy on the subject of further transfers in this window, giving us the old “I’m not expecting anymore business to be done but we remain awake” line.
On Danel Sinani, Farke says he won’t comment unless there is something to speak about.
Adds in his answer, part of Stuart Webber’s job is also to recruit for the medium term.
I’d suggest that’s a hint. #NCFC @TheAthleticUK #FACUP

There is clearly something in it because there is so much speculation around at the moment, however, despite his impressive stats in what appears to be a breakout season, it’s worth taking into consideration the quality of the league he is playing in. Having said that, it sounds and feels like a typical Stuart Webber transfer.
Never heard of him, yet he turns out to be a baller.
We’ll see.
