Josh and Jacob Murphy have both signed new two year contracts with Norwich City that will keep them at Carrow Road until 2017.
Jacob had a spell on loan at Colchester United last season, scoring four goals in 11 games.
He has made two appearances for Norwich City, both in cup competitions.
Jacob told canaries.co.uk: “I`m delighted to get the deal signed.
“They like to look after the young players here so I`m happy it`s been done so quickly. I`ve had a good pre-season and to have that recognised with a new deal is nice.
“It`s up to me to continue working hard in order to kick on now.”
Jacob was part of the “senior” squad that travelled to Austria and Germany in pre-season while his brother Josh was part of the Development squad that also went to Austria but separately.
Josh has made 29 appearances for Norwich City, scoring four goals and ended last season on loan at Wigan Athletic.
Josh stated: “I`m delighted and I`m just glad it`s all sorted now.
“The club has got a big place in my heart and I`m happy to sign, and now the real work begins.”
Well done lads, keep it up.
Immediately after this news was published, the club have announced that Jacob will join Coventry on a season long loan. All the best fella!
