Steven Naismith is willing to play for Rangers for free until the end of the season according to the Scottish Sun
Yes, you read that correctly for FREE.
I`ve read the story, as you can by clicking the link above, and that is what the Sun`s Gareth Law is suggesting.
The Sun have taken Naismith`s comments from a month or so ago, when he told the media that he wanted to play regularly again and that finance wasn`t his motivation, and run with them. I could see him offering a proportion of his wages to charity because he does a lot of good work for charities and I could see him taking a pay cut to get a move, but play for free? I`d be very surprised indeed.
The Sun describe him as being on “a bumper contract” at Carrow Road and as he isn`t currently in Daniel Farke`s plans, a move would obviously suit all parties. The Sun also suggest that Naismith isn`t short of interest this month from clubs both in Scotland and England and a move to Graham Murty`s (who I assume he would know) Rangers with his old friend, Graham Dorrans means that this is an easy link to make.
It is very likely that Naisimith`s agent is trying to get his man playing again but we`re going to have to wait, to see if he can manage it this month or not.
