Neil Didn’t Win Manager Of The Month

Reading boss Jaap Stam has been awarded the Championship Manager Of The Month award for January, beating Alex Neil, Neil Warnock and Paul Lambert in the process.

Fears were raised among the Canary nation yesterday that this little resurgence our team is currently undergoing could be de-railed by the dreaded manager of the month honour.

Neil last won it back in September and his side then went into a tailspin that almost completely blew the season – as it is, our season hangs by a thread.

City won three of the four games they played in January while Reading won three and lost two but hey, I’m not complaining, are you?!
