The Canaries have a had a new, improved offer rejected for Millwall striker Steve Morison, according to the South London Press.

City are reported to have had a bid of £1.8m plus minimal add-ons rejected by the Lions last week, and the paper says this latest offer is only a slight improvement.

Morison handed in a transfer request at the Den on Friday after it was revealed that Millwall had turned down two approaches for the Welshman.

Chief executive Andy Ambler is quoted as saying the two club’s valuation of the player are ‘very different’, and the story looks set to run and run.
