Norwich City have been taking a look at England Youth International, Mackenzie Heaney after his expected release by Newcastle report the EDP
The original report comes from the Newcastle Chronicle and states that the 19 year old creative midfielder, who can play on either the left or right was on trial with the Canaries last week.
The lad is available for free and is represented by Triple S Sports, as is Angus Gunn, with father Bryan a director of talent recruitment with Triple S.
Heaney has made only a handful of appearances for the Magpies` U23 side this term and is looking for a new club for the start of next season. With a number of departures still expected from Carrow Road in the summer like Wes Hoolahan and Alex Tettey, both of whose contracts are expiring, and possible further sales like James Maddison and Nelson Oliveira, there will be a few more comings and goings yet.
