Norwich City finally look to have agreed a deal that will see Nelson Oliveira make the move away from Carrow Road.
Widely acknowledged as being one of the biggest earners at the club, Nelson has been a spectator for over a year now, having not played a single minute of last season’s triumphant Championship title winning season.
The last couple of weeks have seen a number of rumours suggesting that AEK Athens are keen on the Portuguese international striker and more recently several Greek media outlets have reported that Oliveira has agreed terms with AEK.
#AEK are set to sign both Nelson Oliveira from Norwich and Daniele Verde from Roma.
Nelson Oliveira agreed to a 2 year deal, earning him about 1.2m per year while there is also a 6m release clause in his contract. AEK will also give close to 1m to Norwich. pic.twitter.com/FLWW9OWHtn

Nelson has one year left on his City contract, meaning that a fee of close to one million, whether that be pounds or euros isn’t a bad amount, all things considered.
Oliveira is clearly a player of quite some talent and ability, with Russell Martin describing him as the most talented player at the club last summer (Wes Hoolahan had left) but we only ever saw it in flashes in his first season with us.
It didn’t work out and we both move on.
