Norwich City have made a bid in the region of £1.5m for Barnsley defender, Angus McDonald according to the EDP

The EDP understand that McDonald has been identified as the man to plug the gaps in City’s leaky defence, a defence that is the fourth worst in the league.

The 21 year old only joined the Tykes in the summer from Torquay but has quickly established himself as first choice, playing 21 games so far.

I’m pleased that we’re finally looking at defenders but I’m also fearful that this means Timm Klose could be on his way out of the Carrow Road door. If Timm stays and we improve our central defensive options then that’s great but if we sell him and this is his replacement, then I’m not so happy.

Sorry for the delay in getting this story up but I was out buying bathroom tiles this morning 🙂
