Norwich Chasing Wolves Winger

|

Norwich City are “in hard” for Wolves winger, Ben Marshall according to the journalist, Alan Nixon.

Nixon writes a transfer column for The Sun and earlier today he wrote that Norwich are rivalling Millwall for the signature of Marshall, as reported below by The Pink ‘Un.

Marshall is 27 and joined Millwall on loan last January, scoring 3 goals and getting 5 assists in his 16 games with the Lions. He played a big role as Neil Harris’ men made a seemingly unlikely late play off charge and it seems Harris is desperate to get him back permanently.

He was signed for Wolves in January 2017 by Paul Lambert for £1.85m from Lambert’s previous club, Blackburn Rovers and interestingly, he can also operate at right back.

Its beginning to look like utility type players will be very important in next season’s Norwich squad to keep the size of the squad down and, you guessed it, save money.

Marshall is a confident, proven Championship operator but I thought that about Marley Watkins at this time last year…
