- It’s that day people, the day in summer that signals we are on a downward slope heading at speed towards the start of the new football season.
This season, of course, Norwich City will again play in the Premier League, which will be their fifth season in the top flight of English football since 2011/12.
There are always plenty of talking points surrounding the release of the fixtures – the first game, the festive fixtures and the dreaded run-in.
The opening game of the season will see Norwich play Liverpool away at Anfield – nice and easy, then.
That game will be live on Sky Sports on Friday August 9th, best get your Premier membership s handy, eh?!
The first home game will be on August 17th against Newcastle United with a daunting visit to champions Manchester City, the final game of the season on May 17.
Hopefully we won’t need to get anything there!
City will be away at Aston Villa on Boxing Day and host Crystal Palace on New Year ‘s Day.
