Norwich City Confirm Forward Has Signed Pre-Contract Deal

|

Norwich City have confirmed the signing of Luxembourg international forward, Danel Sinani.

The 23-year-old has signed a pre-contract agreement which will see him join the Canaries from Luxembourg side F91 Dudelange ahead of the 2020-21 season.

It’s a three year deal, although when the new season will start is anyone’s guess as we have the problem of finishing the 2019-20 season (or not) first.

Danel knows where the goal is and he has scored 14 goals in 16 appearances this season, usually playing as a winger. The issue for me is that the Luxembourg league is impossible for the average football blog writer, like me, to judge. I’ve never seen any of it and I’m not going to try and tell you any different, so Danel is a completely unknown quantity.

He did, however, play in this season’s UEFA Europa League, scoring four goals in group stage matches against APOEL Nicosia and Sevilla, so you never know. The recruitment team will have watched him and analysed all the necessary data, which is the way things are done these days, so hopefully we’ll have another Emi Buendia on our hands.

You can read what Danel had to say to Canaries.co.uk here.

Welcome to Norwich City, Danel, you’re going to love it.
