Norwich City have been linked to U19 Dutch international striker, Ole Romeny according to a report in Dutch Sports paper, Voetball International. I say that but the original report from VI is pretty hard to track down. So much so that I can’t find it. The story is, however, being reported as such by a whole host of different sports news outlets including the Pink ‘Un and Football España.

Romeny is 20-years-old and has had a productive season with NEC Nijmegen, where he scored nine goals in 30 appearances prior to the March lockdown in Holland. He has spent time playing as both a central striker and a left winger, although he has played more as a striker. He is just over 6’ tall and he’s reportedly a target for lots of Europe’s top clubs, including Juventus, Manchester City, Real Sociedad, Bologna, Leeds and Brentford, to name but a few.
Obviously, if Juve or Man City dip their toe into the water then Norwich will probably be out of the picture, although the promise of More first-team football could sway things to one of the smaller clubs in that list.
Add him to your summer transfer list…
