Norwich City Transfer News – New Forward Incoming And Another Goes Out On-Loan

|

You may remember a few days ago that we brought you news of Norwich City’s hunt for a new winger. It’s been ongoing for a while and last summer, Patrick Roberts was loaned in from Manchester City to try to answer the problem. That obviously didn’t work out and Roberts’ loan was cut short in January so that he could join Middlesbrough’s relegation fight.

Anyway, around a week ago, City’s Sporting Director Stuart Webber was publicly caught up in a mini-media whirlwind around the Romanian winger, Dennis Man. FCSB’s owner, Gigi Becali was very vocal about his dealings with Norwich and how much he thought his  “Man” (sorry) was worth. You can read all about that below.

Are Norwich Set To Spend Big For The Championship This Summer?

Anyway it seems that Norwich have moved on from Dennis Man and have agreed a deal for another player that we brought you speculation around this week.

Pacy Winger On Norwich City’s Radar

Przemyslaw Placheta plays for Slask Wroclaw in Poland and according to The Athletic’s Michael Bailey the deal is done to bring him to Norfolk.

As you can see, Carlton Morris will be out on-loan again next season at MK Dons, managed by ex-Canary Russell Martin.

It’s starting to look as though Carlton will never get a real chance to prove himself in yellow and green, although if League One has to be his level to start out, there’s plenty of opportunities to have a decent career there. Best of luck, Carlton.

In the meantime, start practicing how to say this new lad’s name for when you ring Canary Call in your broadest Norfolk accent, or…

Just call him Placheta. That’s his name to us.

You don’t hear French people saying, “John Terry” in super cockney accents so why on earth would be start pronouncing these players in their native tongue?!

Bailey is a joker as it is, then when you hear him pronounce Tom Trybull in a Germanic accent I just want to slap the virtue signalling chump. We are English and say the names how you want to say them…in English.
