Norwich In “Concrete” Link To Bundesliga Keeper

|

Norwich City are stepping up their interest in Schalke goalkeeper, Ralf Fahrmann according to Sky Sports Germany.

Which translates as:

#Schalke – about the interest of #NorwichCity We had reported last week … more and more indicates that everything is getting more and more concrete. #Fährmann

The 30-year-old has made around 200 appearances in the Bundesliga but he has seemingly fallen out of favour at Schalke and according to Sky Deutschland’s Dirk Schlarmann, the Canaries are stepping up their interest in the vastly experienced Keeper, who it seems, is currently training alone.

Ralf is 6’5” tall and he’s Schalke’s Club Captain, where he is under contract until 2022. Despite the appointment of new Head Coach, David Wagner, formerly of Huddersfield Town, it seems that Schalke are open to offers. It could be a season-long loan or it could be something permanent but it does seem as though things are happening.

I spoke with a very trusted source last night, who told me something that suggests that City are serious about recruiting a top-level goalkeeper this summer but due to some of the restrictions surrounding publication of articles on NewsNow, I’m not going to write unsubstantiated transfer rumours on articles like this.

If you want to see what that relates to then get yourself over to the Summer 2019 Transfer thread on the Vital Norwich Forum.
