Norwich City are reportedly in talks to sign West Ham striker, Jordan Hugill according to Sky Sports transfer guru, Kaveh Solhekol.
Norwich City in talks to sign Jordan Hugill from West Ham. Will cost about £5m. Scored 15 times on loan at QPR last season.

Hugill joined the Hammers in January 2018 for a reported £10m fee from Championship side, Preston North End. He managed just 3 goals though. before being loaned to Middlesbrough for the 2018/19 season, scoring a modest 7 goals in 41 appearances before then being loaned out again last season to QPR.
Things went much better at Loftus Road with Jordan rediscovering his goal scoring touch with 15 goals in 41 appearances for Mark Warburton’s side.
At 6’ tall and aged 28-years-old, Hugill is a completely different type of striker to Teemu Pukki. He is very physical and predominantly a target man type of striker which is just what we need, I’d say.
To my mind, if we’re looking to sign a player like this, to compliment the strikers we already have, it makes me think that Josip Drmic is probably going to leave this summer. Drmic received a bit of flak from some of the Canary social media crowd, some of which was more than a little harsh. Anyway, if his time is up in Norfolk and Hugill is to be his replacement then I think we will have got ourselves a tidy replacement.
Check out the fee too – five million squids!
