Norwich City are preparing to move for Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean according to reports, with the story being published today by the Aberdeen Evening Express

The Canaries are said to be ready to bid £500k for the 26 year old, who has a contract that expires in the summer and has refused the offer of a new extension at Pittodrie.

The lad is 6 feet tall and can either play centrally or on the left and joined Aberdeen in 2015 from St. Mirren, making 111 appearances for the Dons and scoring 13 goals.

He also has 2 full caps for Scotland.

Rangers reportedly bid £300k for McLean last summer but this was knocked back. You would assume that City could see off Rangers in terms of finance, if they came back in for the midfield playmaker.

  • We really need a striker.
Are there any links at all ?
I am beginning to get very concerned that DF is going with the unsettled Nelson and
    incapable Watkins.
If this season is to be salvaged at all we need to look to double our goals for column.

  • Ashley Fletcher Of ?Boro has been linked. Joined them last summer for £6m from West Ham. I?d think that?s got to be a loan if anything though because Boro will surely want at least their money back…

  • Another Central midfielder! the guy can play on the left wing. I hope we sign a right back and forward soon.
