Norwich City are keen on a loan move for West Brom Midfielder, Sam Field according to HITC Sport

The 19 year old is also interesting Sunderland and Derby County after struggling for game time since Alan Pardew`s arrival at The Hawthorns.

Field started Pardew`s first two games in charge but has been a rarely used substitute since then. He`s started six Premier League games this season and scored his first goal in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle.

Another central Midfielder? We could really do with a striker and a winger.

However, in the time it`s taken me to get this report up on the site, it seems as though this has all been quashed anyway, say HITC

They say that a report in the Express & Star says that none of the clubs interested will be able to get him on a loan this January as Alan Pardew wants to keep him in the Baggies` first team squad.

  • This management team and the last seem to be obsessed with central/attacking midfielders. We need a forward and a right back. Not another young loan player from the premiership. Why was Godfrey loaned out if we are now looking to loan a prem clubs young central player? What about current youth players here?
